David has over 30 years of experience as an administrator and consultant in higher education, specializing in budgeting, resource allocation and administrative issuesHe has worked with a wide range of institutions including the University of Chicago, Michigan State, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Alaska, Temple, Portland State, New Mexico State, Fort Lewis College, and several campuses within the University of California and California State University systemsDavid founded EdgePiece AI when he gained familiarity with the new generation of Large Language Models and realized how much impact they could have on administrative processes that people in higher education experience as cumbersome, frustrating and time-consumingMoreover, developing AI solutions with colleagues in higher education has unleashed creative energy and even joy among people who do important but often unacknowledged work. David has a BA from Amherst College, an MA from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Vanderbilt.

Abigail brings over 15 years of higher education human resources expertise to EdgePiece AI, where she transforms traditional HR workflows through innovative AI-empowered solutions. As the former Director of Employment & Compensation Services at New Mexico State University, a public university consisting of over 4,500 faculty and staff, she understands the challenges facing higher education institutions today. She has implementation, troubleshooting, and daily operations experience with systems such as PageUp, Payfactors, PeopleAdmin, and Banner. This frontline perspective shapes everything she does at EdgePiece AI. Abigail specializes in designing practical, compliance-focused AI applications that reduce administrative cycle times, enhance decision-making capabilities, and free HR professionals to focus on strategic initiatives. Abigail holds an MBA and BBA from New Mexico State University.
